Ca Rem #1 Ice Cream, SeaTac, is voluntarily recalling its coconut-flavored popsicles over fears they may be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
Washington’s state Department of Agriculture did routine sampling of the product and found the presence of Listeria. So far, no one has fallen ill over ingesting the popsicles.

A nationwide test of tuna and swordfish used in sushi production finds both meet or exceed the federal guidelines for mercury levels.

About 30 cases of rare salmonella Paratyphi in Hawaii have been linked to imported raw ahi, which state epidemiologist Dr. Paul Effler says is also linked to two cases in Colorado and one California case.
