Filed March 31st, 2008 amy

After days of chlorine being pumped through the salmonella-contaminated Alamosa Colorado water supply, some residents are finally being allowed to take brief showers. Thus far, 315 people have become ill, with 85 confirmed cases, and 12 people hospitalized. The source of the contamination is still unknown.
